As the use of CRS is required even for newborn babies from the time of leaving the maternity hospital, Aprica advocated that, when taking into account the physical immaturity of newborn babies and the possible risk because of it, it is important to introduce "the bed-type CRS" which can be used as the flat, bed-type CRS for newborn babies and babies up to six- to seven-month-olds (when they are able to sit by themselves) and later as the seat-type CRS with varying backrest angles in accordance with the development of infants. We developed "the bed-type CRS" in-house based on the above belief and have since been marketing the product in the Japanese market. Such a "bed-type CRS" has not been introduced in the rest of the world as yet and it is therefore very significant that "Euroturn," the new product to be launched in Europe, will be exhibited at "The 40 th TOKYO MOTOR SHOW."
