In recent years, the profusion of the lntemet
and its technologies has brought us an era in which the world
has become instantaneously linked. This has not only brought
greater convenience to our lives, it has also increased the

of a space different from the one we normally inhabit. There
has been a noticeable increase in motorcyclists in Japan in
their thirties, their forties and even in their fifties. This
indicates that there is an increase in the number fo people
using their motorcycles as a medium to enjoy their dreams, new
stimuli and travel adventures, bring a new dimension of relaxation
along with its use.

For many years now there has been one motorcycle whose popularity
has remained unshakeable : the ZZ-R1100. Its appeal has been
based on its position as having luxurious styling, and as

twenty-first century, that concept alone is no longer sufficient.
In addition to touring performance we find ourselves wanting
sport potential : therein lies the concept for the ZZ-R1200.
The ZZ-R1200 is resplendent with a twenty-first century design
style. It also possesses an invitation to a luch sport riding
experience while continuing to offer the reliability needed
for many years of long touring experienced in its past. We've
hidden away all the good old-fashioned qualities of the ZZ-R1100
deep within the heart of the new ZZ-R1200 so we could emphasize
its totally new design and functionality. The ZZ-R1200 has
the capacity to allow its riders to enjoy the greatest of
travel advetures.

The Ninja ZX-12R shone at the height of super
sport cycles throughout the world the moment of its shocking
debut. Further impetus arrived in the form of its companion
models, the Ninja ZX-9R and the Ninja ZX-6R. We've taken the
incredible potential within the Ninja ZX-12R and made its real
power much more easily handled. With greater stability and sharpness,
it now corners with a wonderful steering feel. We've also increased
its overall from and elegance, finishing it with an aesthetic
touch that would complament the pride of any of its owners.
The Ninja ZX-9R has an even racier feel, and we've improved
its handling in curves. The Ninja ZX-6R has an expanded displacement
volume of 636cm3, offering geater power and an overall more
capacious feel its drive.

| A 250cc Class Entry
to Delight the Japanese Market : the 250TR |
Using a compelling air-cooled single cylinder
engine, this new motorcycle is best described as a freestyle
bike. It's name, the 250TR. It incorporates a remake of the
trail bikes that once owned Kawasaki's off-road market, yet
the 250TR is a very metropolitan freestyle bike.
With real off-road tires, it offers a true off-road appeal,
but our concept in designing this model was to capture the wild
outdoors within our riders' hearts. This bike's theme is the
ability to have fun as you wish whenever you feel like it. It
offers a lightweight construction and a compact body type, with
a fashion sense perfectly suited to that day when you'll need
it. This freestyle sports commuter is sure to make your neighborhood
a much more interesting place to live.

| Our Customized Display
Models are Dreams Made Real |
In our Display Models Area, you'll see a display
of a variety of ideas that grew out of the 250TR during its
design phase. When the W650 was introduced, we had several requests
from our customers for a raised-muffler dual-purpose model that
would increase user freedom. We explored the nostalgia inherent
in the existing W650 line to create customized models that people
would enjoy getting to know. Next to it you'll find the Classic
Café Model of the 250TR. There is also a classic motocross-racing
model for that same 250TR, which shows off is readiness for
creative customization based on its superlative building materials.

Outfits for the Kawasaki Racing Team |
The Kawasaki Racing Team has an active
and well-earned reputation across the globe. The battles are
heating up where the team gets to shine in super-bike, motocross,
super-cross, super-sports and the coming Grand Prix, which will
highlight our Green Power. Kawasaki notonly has an eye out for
victory, but also for enabling the racing space to be shared
by team and supporters alike. In keeping with that concept,
we have asked fashion designer Hiroko Koshino to design our
new team uniforms, and she has done so combining casual and
city chic. Always fun and always exciting, the year 2002 will
allow the supporters to enjoy the race as much as the racing
team.
