Booth Highlight

This will mark the third time that Mitsuoka Motor Co. has participated in the Tokyo Motor Show. Since the start of our business the Mitsuoka Motor philosophy has been to produce a small number of vehicles for customers looking for unique, one-of-a-kind cars that evoke a strong sense of devotion.

Our approach to the niche automobile market and our basic philosophy for product development remain unchanged. We are very excited to have the chance to introduce some of our new designs and ideas the Tokyo Motor Show.

At the Tokyo Motor Show Mitsuoka Motor plans to make the world premiere of one design study concept car and we also plan to present three other vehicles including new models.

The first model is Mitsuoka Motor's long beloved "Viewt". We have continued to make this popular car for the past 13 years without any design changes. However, the "Viewt" has now been reborn as a new model. The designer responsible for the popular "Orochi" was placed in charge of this makeover for the "Viewt". More than 90% of the parts have been remade, but the uncompromising value offered by the original vehicle lives on in this new design.

The second model is the "Galue". At the Tokyo Motor Show we plan to introduce a model change for this flagship sedan. The front and rear of the car conveys the sense of a bigger body than the conventional model, but the design remains true to the unique spirit found only in the "Galue".

The third model is the "Nouera", our medium class sedan. This car offers a unique design and very smooth ride.

The design study concept car that will be making its world premiere at the Tokyo Motor Show is the "Orochi Nude Top Roadstar". The aim of this design study model is to add more luxury and a youthful spirit to the fashionable "Orochi" coupe that is currently being developed.

Booth Characteristics - "Vivid and Dedicated" Design

The design the Mitsuoka Motor booth conveys a "vivid impression" and "the idea of product devotion".
The Colors red and black are used for the majority of the booth. These bold black and red colors conjure up images of Japanese lacquer ware. For example, lacqur bowls with vivid red and black colors give the impression of a cherished utensil that can be enjoyed for years and years.

We are striving to give all Mitsuoka cars designs that provide such vivid impressions and conjure up a sense of devotion for a product that can be enjoyed for years to come. We hope to express this design philosophy through the appearance of our booth.
