KOITO has successfully developed and commercialized the world's first LED headlamp using high-output white LEDs. This lamp has been mounted on Lexus LS600h.
Unlike the conventional halogen and HID headlamps, this LED headlamp produces beam patterns by combining light from an LED built-in triplet projector and a small reflector. This offers novel and aesthetic styling in addition to improved visibility.
