Hitachi's biometrics technology identifies persons by using uniqueness of their own finger vein pattern. It can recognize the proper users only by placing one finger on the reader.
Newly developed technology realizes compact reader enough to install in the steering wheel. This allows to authenticate the driver only by gripping the wheel. Additionally by having seveal functions relevance to each fingers, the driver can start various functions safely even in driving without looking at instrument panel or steering wheel. |
