| Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) for motorcycle offers an optimal fuel efficiency and sporty ride at one time. Honda has already developed VCM for automobile and then applied this technology to motorcycle. This system combined with VTEC system for CB400 SUPER FOUR calculates throttle opening angle, vehicle speed, engine speed, and gearing to determine the ideal condition of cylinder and intake and exhaust valves' movement. Thus reduced by as much as 30% low fuel consumption has been attained in comparison with that of 2005. |
