Developed by Mercedes-AMG GmbH, the powerful 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine in the CL 65 AMG delivers a rated output of 450 kW/612 hp and a peak torque of 1,000 Nm/102 kgm. To handle the high power output of the biturbo engine, the new AMG coupé employs a special reinforced transmission and the electronic hydraulic suspension Active Body Control. The AMG braking system features large brake discs with twin calipers.
The impressive exterior of the new AMG coupé adds an extremely dynamic touch to the exclusive styling of the CL-Class. Striking design elements include a front spoiler and side/rear skirts in AMG design,and AMG dual twin chromed exhaust pipes on both sides of the rear end.
The interior design of the CL 65 AMG features a number of appointments that accentuate the elegant character of the CL-Class. These include quilted Alcantara roof lining and exclusive semi-aniline leather seats (full leather upholstery) with similar to seat color, which has been added to the seat cushions and backrests, as well as to the interior door lining. |
