Hino provides an exhibition space with a friendly atmosphere called the "HINO Bus and Truck Park" and introduces the "fun of riding a bus", "toughness of trucks", and "efforts made toward ‘safety' and ‘the environment' in order to serve society" in an easy-to-understand manner.

The summary of exhibits is as follows:
1.A first-class, large-sized touring coach "HINO S'elega※　Premium" (reference exhibit)
It proposes a "new travel style" by offering full interior equipment such as a spacious, luxurious seat arrangement for accommodating a small number of passengers.

2.A small-sized excursion bus "HINO Poncho※　Travel Cafe" (reference exhibit)
The features of a small-sized non-step bus that is equipped with a low flat floor and mobility which enables sharp turns are made the best use of for this model. It proposes "new travel styles", such as "visiting famous places and historic sites through narrow streets".

3.A heavy-duty safety concept truck "HINO Profia※　ASV" (reference exhibit)
Hino has been proposing ASV equipped with advanced safety technology and has been taking the initiative in the industry in commercializing a wide range of safety technologies such as the "Pre-crash Safety" released in 2006, the world's first brake system for commercial vehicles. This year, we proposes even more advanced safety technologies.

4.A medium-duty 4×4 truck "HINO Ranger※　", scheduled to participate in the Dakar Rally 2008 (reference exhibit)

5.A diesel engine that conforms to the 2005 (new long-term) emission regulations, "A09C"
This is the latest diesel engine with a piston displacement of 8.9 L for heavy-duty
truck. This engine realizes smaller-size, lightweight, low emissions and low fuel
consumption (low CO2 emissions) .

6.Hybrid system for light-duty truck
Hino has been working on the research of the diesel-electric hybrid system for commercial vehicle. We marketed the world's first large-sized hybrid route bus in 1991 and light-duty hybrid truck in 2003. Approx.4,000 Hino hybrid vehicles are taking an active part in Japan now.

Our concept of the motor show this time is "All for you" indicating our company's corporate attitude. As for displays, a new generation light-duty hybrid city dump, "CANTER ECO-D" will be introduced, and the first components co-developed with the Daimler Trucks, 12 speed mechanical automatic transmission and a new engine in compliance with the post New Long-term Emission Regulations will be released to the public for the first time along with the up-graded new "SUPER GREAT" and the large sightseeing bus, "AERO QUEEN" launched this year.

With the theme this year "Global Life Partner", Isuzu introduces the state-of-art technology in a line up of commercial vehicles, diesel engines, and pick up trucks, which are all well being of people in over 100 countries.
Isuzu's exhibit, including the first all-new ELF and FORWARD in 13 years, Isuzu's next generation diesel engine series D-CORE with the advantage of lower CO2 emissions, and our safety support system View Assist Technology, VAT, are the form of Isuzu's continuous challenge to contribute to a rich lifestyle for people around the world, supporting our customers and respecting the environment.
