Chrysler Akino Concept |
The unique and artistically sculptured appearance of the Chrysler Akino concept and its one-box, compact size certainly turns heads. However, after the fifth person settles comfortably into vehicle, one clearly gets the idea there is more to this concept than meets the eye. The vehicle name comes from Interior and Exterior Designer, Akino Tsuchiya, a 37-year-old who was born in Japan and is based at the Chrysler Group's Pacifica Advanced Design Center in Carlsbad, Calif. The selection of materials and colors used in the interior are composed of natural and recyclable synthetic fabrics: bamboo flooring, a throw rug, lighting sconce, mood lighting and even throw pillows. |

Chrysler 300C 5.7HEMI |
Chrysler 300C features classic proportions. A long hood, short deck and dramatic profile complete with 18-inch wheels give Chrysler 300C its stunning presence. The introduction of the modern HEMI in Chrysler passenger cars marks several milestones. The legendary 426 HEMI of the e60s and e70s has been re-engineered and reborn as a modern, high-performance, fuel-efficient and durable powerplant known as the all-new 5.7-litre HEMI V-8. The Chrysler Group's Multi-Displacement System (MDS) seamlessly turns off the fuel consumption in four cylinders of the 5.7-litre HEMI engine when V-8 power is not needed and will deliver a 10 to 20 per cent increase in fuel efficiency. |

Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7 HEMI |
The flagship model of the Jeep brand, the all-new 2005 MY Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was launched in Japan this July. Grand Cherokee had developed the premium SUV market since its introduction in 1992. Grand Cherokee offers a sportier appearance, responsive and precise on-road ride and handling and superior off-road capability. As the power source, it is equipped with a 5.7L V8 HEMI engine, the first time ever in the Jeep brand. This engine, which generates overwhelming power, incorporates the Multi-Displacement System (MDS), holding down fuel consumption by inactivating four cylinders when power is not required and thereby also realizing reduced fuel consumption. |
