	Focus Vignale Concept	Emotional. It's the most fitting word to describe the Focus Vignale. From the moment its sporty coupe form meets the eye, the moment you feel the sense of liberation its open top evokes ... no one can hold back the rush of adrenaline. Plenty of models can serve as both coupes and convertibles, but none can do it with the beauty and refined form of Focus Vignale. This is where German craftsmanship meets Italian design to produce a new level of excellence. The Focus Vignale takes as its namesake famed Italian designer Alfredo Vignale. The liquid elegance of the door handles, for instance, was inspired by the Spider, designed in the 1960's by Vignale. It's all part of the feel of freedom and security that envelops you the moment you place yourself in its hands-- a thrill and satisfaction known only to owners of the Focus Vignale concept.
	Focus ST	What distinguishes the much anticipated new Focus ST most from the previous ST model is that it was developed by Team RS, a group of engineers with unsurpassed technological prowess and a passion for motor sports. The result is a performance road car that lets everybody experience the joy of driving. The turbocharged Duratech ST 2.5-liter engine optimizes the combination of 225ps and a highly precise six-speed manual transmission for a top speed of 240km/h, and acceleration of 0-100km/h in just 6.8 seconds. And the suspension unit, with excellent basic performance characteristics, features 30% greater rigidity than the base model, with damping force tuned to perfection and a braking system on a par with high-performance models. The specially designed cockpit includes turbo boost, oil temperature and oil pressure indicators. Like the exciting exterior, it's an enthusiastic interior that invites you to anticipate an entirely new level of driving experience.
	2006 Focus WRC Concept	Together with F1 competition, the World Rally Championship (WRC) is in the limelight as the pinnacle of motor sports. The most spectacular, grueling race of all, it requires the highest levels of reliability and technological sophistication. And Ford has established a track record in this field that includes numerous victories. Beginning in 2006, Ford plans to enter the race with the much anticipated Ford Focus WRC, based on the newest Focus model. M-Sports Co., which has been in charge of the Ford rally effort for the past nine years, will continue to develop new machines for the program. It is easy to picture the Focus WRC captivating spectators around the world with its superb fighting trim, while it also demonstrates on the WRC stage the high level of basic capabilities the new Focus model is able to boast.
	FOCUS	A dynamic driving design and a cabin with an abundant sense of openness. The new Focus makes no compromises in its worldwide quest for compact elements. 	FOCUS C-MAX	The new Focus C-MAX combines the superb driving performance of the Focus with even greater attention to cabin quality and comfort. The Focus C-MAX cabin maximizes comfort, confidence and control. The finish and quality of the cabin can best be described as "premium." With a priority on dynamic driving and cabin comfort, it dispenses with the seven-seat layout, using a spacious three-passenger rear seat instead. An additional feature of the Focus C-MAX is that it can be configured as a two-seater with spaciousness comparable to First Class. With the flowing lines of the Focus family, the styling has the best aerodynamics in its class. And this stylish form comes from the highly rigid body, a crucial item that supports chassis components that provide a strong sense of directness. The new Focus C-MAX will enable more people than ever to experience the driving quality, craftsmanship and packaging of the Focus family.
	Mondeo	As the flagship model for the Ford's European vehicle line, the Mondeo has earned an excellent reputation worldwide. Abundantly fulfilling all our expectations, the new Mondeo represents a natural evolution toward even better driving quality. In our uncompromising determination to create a new dimension of harmony between driver and car, we have improved the brake feel. Another point of interest is the stress on classical design features together with major improvements in sportiness and quality feel. In particular, the use of chrome for both exterior and interior appointments adds crucial decorative touches that give the new Mondeo a more stylish, substantial presence. Our obsession with quality can also be seen in the materials used, such as the real wood in the steering wheel and shift knob. 	Explorer	A benchmark product in the dramatically evolving SUV market, the Explorer has achieved the highest sales in its segment in the U.S. for 14 years running. The new model features major improvements in all aspects of performance, with a stronger presence, and even better driving performance and safety than previous models. Its overwhelmingly impressive front mask features a more substantial grille versus previous models, expressing superior power and an aggressive urban adventurer personality. The new 4.6-liter V8 engine features a three-valve configuration allowing improved throttle response and providing 292ps. Together with a six-speed automatic transmission, this gives the new Explorer superior all-round performance and excellent fuel economy. Superb interior craftsmanship makes for such a high-quality cabin that you'll forget this is an SUV with superior staying power. Improvements in noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) characteristics make the new Explorer one of the quietest automobiles in its class, a crucial element of a luxurious ride.
	Equator Concept	Ford, a world leader in SUVs, has launched =another attractive, exciting SUV concept car--Equator, an evolutionary advancement in the combination of performance and sports capabilities that characterize all Ford SUVs. The exterior design maximizes aerodynamics for an exciting shape that doesn't have the look of the typical SUV. The glamorous bonnet and large air intake quietly invite expectations of high performance. The Equator concept car has been painted with a hue the designers call First Light Orange to evoke the image of the sun rising from the equatorial horizon. It certainly is an appropriate name for concept car representing a new generation of SUVs. It carries a 3.0-liter V6 Duratech power unit. Working together with a completely computer-controlled intelligent 4WD system, the equator delivers high performance regardless of whether it's on road off. There can be no question that the Equator could bring more excitement to the range of Ford vehicles available to Japanese drivers.
