PREMIERE[LOGO] MITSUBISHI Concept-X With an exterior that carries over the full flavor of Lancer Evolution's spartan road machine image and a high quality interior with a functional layout that encourages the driver to concentrate solely on operating his machine, MITSUBISHI Concept-X points to way a new-age Evolution design that is as handsome and purposeful as it is functional.
In the mechanical components department, MITSUBISHI Concept-X mates a turbocharged MIVEC engine to a 6-speed auto-manual transmission. Extensive use is made of aluminum in the roof, engine hood and other body panels. Chassis performance has been substantially improved with the introduction of Mitsubishi's latest 4WD-based Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) vehicle dynamics control system. The incarnation of driving pleasure, this highly advanced technical specification makes MITSUBISHI Concept-X a showcase on wheels for Mitsubishi Motors' quintessential road performance technology.
PREMIERE[LOGO] MITSUBISHI Concept-D:5 MITSUBISHI Concept D:5 is a concept for the next-generation Delica model. In a go-anywhere-anytime, high-mobility, high-functionality new 4WDmono-box concept, it wraps together the classy living space and functionality sought by owners in today's minivan and Delica's legendary all-terrain capabilities. Deriving from its advanced 4WD system, MITSUBISHI Concept D:5 offers a refined but rugged design that projects a reassuring sense of protective safety.
To deliver maximum driving pleasure and in line with Mitsubishi's All Wheel Control (AWC) philosophy, MITSUBISHI Concept D:5 employs the electronically controlled four-wheel drive system. To bring a reassuring sense of safety that is more than skin deep, MITSUBISHI Concept D:5 incorporates active safety vehicle (ASV) technology that assists the driver in operating his vehicle safely and minimizes strain. MITSUBISHI Concept D:5 also brings new active and passive safety technologies to the minivan/SUV category.

i proposes the three new values, comfortable marriage between original exterior lines and roomy interior living space, all-directional crashworthiness, athletic performance and a classy ride.
The development team adopted a totally new approach to the challenge of building these three core values into the space limitations dictated by minicar dimensions. The solution is the rear-midship layout. There can be little doubt that the near future will see the growth of a market for a new breed of minicar that offers premium levels of reliability, material quality, and design to extend the choices of prospective purchasers.

Lancer Evolution MIEV Lancer Evolution MIEV - a proposal for next-generation electric vehicles that utilizes to maximum effect the environmental technology Mitsubishi Motors has developed over the years. The wheels of Lancer Evolution MIEV are driven by four outer-rotor in-wheel motors. Requiring no speed reducer. Each in-wheel motor produces 50 kW of power and 518 Nm torque with the lithium-ion battery system.
OUTLANDER Outlander is an all-new mid-size SUV with a newly developed platform that feature increased crashworthiness and body stiffness. Outlander sports a brand new powertrain that mates an aluminum cylinder block 2.4-liter 16-valve DOHC MIVEC engine to a new Sport Mode 6-speed CVT. And with an aluminum roof panel and mono-tube shock absorbers, Outlander borrows heavily from technology nurtured in the Lancer Evolution series to deliver hard-hitting on-road performance that raises the bar for SUVs. A legitimate on-road SUV, Outlander seats 5 or 7 seats depending on trim level.
Lancer Evolution Wagon Lancer Evolution Wagon is the first station wagon model in the Lancer Evolution series. Derived from the Lancer Evolution IX sedan launched in March 2005, Lancer Evolution Wagon uses the body side panels and roof panel from the Lancer Wagon with reinforcements mainly focused on the rear end to create a lightweight and very stiff station wagon body. The powertrain mates a 2.0-liter intercooler-turbocharged engine to an electronically controlled 4WD driveline to realize unparalleled vehicle dynamics for a station wagon.
COLT Released in November 2002, Colt was the first Mitsubishi car to which the Quality Gate system - where stringent quality inspections are implemented at each stage of the development-to-production chain - had been applied right from the development stage. Features distinguishing this compact size model include classy interior trim and equipment and outstanding road performance delivered by new 1.3-liter and 1.5-liter aluminum block engines produced by MDC Power in Europe.
GRANDIS Standing taller than the Grandis, the new Sport Gear grade with exclusive exterior design marries SUV styling with minivan utility and convenience to create a new genre of sporty minivan for those with active lifestyles.
eK Wagon eK Wagon debuted in October 2001 as the first model in the eK minicar series that targets a wide age band of customers. The series has since grown to include a number of models that cater to an extensive range of customer needs and preferences. eK Wagon has been followed by the sporty eK Sport, aimed chiefly at male drivers in their twenties, by the uptown eK Classy, targeting owners looking for the comfort of a slightly larger car, and the SUV-style eK Active, for customers with outdoor interests and lifestyles.
COLT PLUS(HeartyRun) The Colt Plus Self-transporter is equipped with a robot arm for loading and unloading a wheelchair carried in the luggage compartment. The whole operation is controlled by the touch of a switch: from the opening and closing of the tailgate, to the deployment and retraction of the robot arm. With its wheelchair stowage system and barrier-free seating, this Colt Plus model brings all the pleasure and convenience of motoring to mobility-challenged users.
Pajero Evolution The machine that took overall honors in the 2005 Dakar Rally to give Team Mitsubishi Motors Motorsport its fifth consecutive and 10th cumulative victory in the event.

PREMIERE[LOGO] Super-All Wheel Control(S-AWC) Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) uses the latest in electronic devices to add integrated control of braking force, steering and suspension to Mitsubishi Motors industry-leading 4WD system that is built around Super AYC + ACD traction and handling enhancing components.
660cc MIVEC Engine Development aims for this new engine included high performance, low fuel consumption, lower weight, smaller size and low cost. Technology employed to reduce weight includes the use of an aluminum cylinder block. Introduction of the Mitsubishi Motors Development System (MMDS) has assured the highest levels of quality during development.
PREMIERE[LOGO] next-generation MIVEC Engine The MIVEC valvetrain works in two ways: by changing valve timing and lift or by changing camshaft phasing. The next-generation MIVEC engine now under development integrates these two methods and also widens the camshaft phasing range to achieve lower fuel consumption and cleaner emissions than the current MIVEC engine.
