With reference to the disaster prevention
system at the 36th Tokyo Motor Show, we are currently undertaking
the following: 1. Establishment of a contact network; 2. Strengthening
of measures to deal with threats and suspicious objects; and
3. Creation and execution of disaster prevention plans with
a focus on strengthening organization in the event of a fire.
In keeping with these efforts, we ask that exhibitors also
provide cooperation with regard to the items listed below,
in order to ensure effective accident prevention for all visitors.
- Application for person in charge of booth and person(s)
responsible for disaster prevention
Please appoint a person in charge of disaster prevention
in each exhibit booth. In the event of a disaster, this
person shall play a central role in directing the actions
of persons working in the booth. Please submit the attached
"Application for person in charge of booth and person(s)
responsible for disaster prevention."
- Disaster Prevention Inspection Chart
Please confirm safety items during installation and removal
periods (morning and afternoon) and each day during the
Show (before opening and after closing of the venue), based
on the attached "Booth Disaster Prevention Inspection
Chart." Please keep records of these inspections.
- Constant availability of emergency megaphone (exhibitors
in Commercial Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle Body Divisions)
Please insure that one or more transistor megaphones are
available at all times for each exhibit booth, for use in
guiding evacuations and other activities in the event of
an emergency.
* The Disaster Prevention Plan will be distributed as
part of the "Guide to the 36th Tokyo Motor Show for
Exhibitors" with the next issue of the Newsletter
to Exhibitors (in early October).
