Newsletter to Exhibitors

36th Tokyo Motor Show - Commercial Vehicles (2002)
Request for Exhibitors' Cooperation Regarding Press Information

We kindly request that you provide materials for distribution to the press according to the following outline:

  1. Press Information (applicable to all Exhibitors)
At Tokyo Motor Shows in the past, we included information on the numbers of exhibits by segment along with other show information in a "Press Information," based on a "Detailed list of exhibit items" submitted by the Exhibitors. Starting with the 36th Tokyo Motor Show Ð Commercial Vehicles (2002), the organizer will provide the press with a summary of information on exhibits being presented for the first time in the world or in Japan, in order to improve information services to the press and at the same time encourage attendance by the general public through the publicity of such information. To this end, we will create Press Information as described below.

    1. Information to be provided:
      • Exhibits to be presented for the first time anywhere in the world (applicable to all Exhibitors of vehicles, vehicle bodies, and parts sections)
      • Exhibits to be presented for the first time in Japan (applicable to all Exhibitors of vehicles, vehicle bodies, and parts sections)

"World's Premiere" and "Japan's Premiere" Exhibits
      Definitions:

"Exhibits presented for the first time anywhere in the world"
stands for the exhibits which are presented for the first time in the world at the Tokyo Motor Show.
"Exhibits presented for the first time in Japan"
stands for the exhibits that have already been presented at other motor shows and/or venues overseas, but which are presented for the first time in Japan at the Tokyo Motor Show.

Judgment: Independent judgment by the Exhibitor
