Made to commemorate Toyota's passing the 100 million unit production milestone, Origin symbolizes the high level of craftsmanship employed in Toyota luxury sedans.
8)WiLL Vi
Playful and full of life, the WiLL concept vehicle promises a 4-door personal capsule. Blending modern and retro (including an optional canvas top), the vehicle creates a relaxing space for all occupants.

Toyota's technological prowess is pushed to the limits in various motorsports activities. Displays include:

THE TOYOTA DIFFERENCE
I. Environment
Toyota is tackling the difficult issues of global environmental conservation through multifaceted efforts that include altermative energy sources, energy conservation, and recycling.
1)Alternative Energy Sources
Various technologies utilizing alternative energy sources will be on display, including components of Toyota's fuel cell hybrid vehicle such as its fuel cell stack and fuel reformer.
2)Energy Efficiency
A series of powertrains, either already on the market or currently under development, will be on display, including Toyota Hybrid System, a series of BEAMS* D-4* gasoline engines with VVT-i*, and compact direct-injection common rail diesel engines.
3)Recycling
New Toyota Super Olefin Polymer (New TSOP) technology is seen alongside recycling technology for end-of-life vehicles.

II. Safety
This exhibit showcases the newest safety technologies being developed for and currently being used in vehicles on the market. These technologies can be divided into active and passive safety features.
1)Active Safety
An introduction to Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Brake Assist (BA) technologies.
2)Passive Safety
On display are the Toyota Passive Safety Body (GOA)*, seatbelts with pretensioners and force limiters, supplemental restraint system (SRS) Curtain Shield Airbags, and seat designs that incorporate Whiplash Injury Lessening (WIL) concepts.

III. Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)
Toyota is conducting R&D; in five basic fields associated with ITS:systems to make vehicles more intelligent, onboard multimedia systems, enhancing public tacilities, logistics systems to control vehicle distribution on roads, and alternative transportation systems. Displays will include Crayon, an electric commuter system, and MONET, an online car navigation system.
