Highlights of the Porsche Booth
Exhibits Concept
The continually evolving 911 has been born again. In the short space of two years since the introduction of the water-cooled engine, Porsche has unveiled a succession of new 911 models including the 911 Cabriolet, the 911 Carrera 4, and the 911 GT3 whose performance at Le Mans is still fresh. Now, the Tokyo Motorshow showcases the new 911 Turbo, which stunningly debuted at the recent Frankfurt Motorshow. Over the 25 years since the 911 Turbo first appeared in 1974 it has remained the Porsche flagship model. Like its predecessor 911 Turbos, the new model Turbo was developed as the quintessence of Porsche technology. Another major topic of the show is the Boxster S. The use of .a 3.2-liter engine and a six-speed manual transmission improve driving satisfaction and make this Boxster S even more fun to drive. Welcome to the Porsche world, typified by these two models.
