•CITROËN C3 (Concept Car)
The C3 catches the eye with its radically rounded styling and unusual dimensions. A closer look reveals an array of features that redefine compact car versatility: four equidistant mounting rails running the length of the vehicle allow seats to be positioned anywhere, the gearshift lever is located on the center console to free up room, and the generous storage space can be increased by moving the rear seats. The C3 was a star of the 1998 Paris Motor Show, Where it was first unveiled.

•CITROËN XSARA KIT CAR
(Exhibition Model)
The XSARA KIT CAR stunned the rallying establishment by winning two rounds of the 1999 FIA World Rally Championship series: the Rallye Catalunya (Round 5) and the Tour de Corse (Round 6). These victories, and another in France's Alsace-Vosges Rally, came despite the fact that the F2-class XSARA KIT CAR uses many components from the production car, and has neither four-wheel-drive nor a turbocharged engine.

•CITROËN SAXO VTS (Current Model)
The sportiest of CITROËN's "hot hatch" models, the SAXO VTS comes equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and a feisty 1.6-liter, 16-valve DOHC engine that generates maximum power output of 120ps/6,600rpm. Maneuverability is excellent, benefiting from its compact dimensions and responsive MacPherson strut (front) and trailing-arm type (rear) suspension. Safety standards compare favorably with vehicles a class higher thanks to front and rear anti-roll bars, reinforced roof beams, airbags, front seat belt pre-tensioners and four-wheel ABS.

•CITROËN XSARA VTS (current Model)
The most powerful member of the XSARA family, the VTS version boasts a 2.0-liter, 16-valve DOHC engine with maximum power output of 165ps/6,500rpm and maximum torque of 19.7kg-m/5,500rpm. Driving enthusiasts will appreciate the high-performance suspension set-up and 5-speed manual suspension. Sporty touches - avaliable only for the VTS - include a leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather seats. CITROËN's design innovation is at work in the interior layout, which allows the rear passengers a considerably more comfortable ride than in most coupes.

•CITROËN XSARA EXCLUSIVE

CITROËN's new-generation family car, the XSARA EXCLUSIVE offers the ease of use of a hatchback in a "three-box" sedan form. A unique body design allows exceptional interior length of 1,810mm, which is exploited in a selection of seating configurations. Quality interior finishes add a touch of luxury. The XSARA EXCLUSIVE features a 2.0-liter DOHC engine, 15-inch aluminum wheels, and a highly rigid body with reinforced roof beams and side impact absorbers.

A further example of CITROËN's long-standing commitment to combining practicality and style, the XSARA BREAK EXCLUSIVE station wagon offers one of the largest cargo capacities in its class. This was achieved by extending the rear overhang of the XSARA sedan by 190mm, which raised capacity from 517 to 1,512 liters. Features amied at ease of use include a tailgate that can be opened at the bumper level, and a flat-floor, squared cargo area. Other notable features are a practical cargo net and stylish thin roof rails.

The XANTIA V6 EXCLUSIVE has won international acclaim for representing the best og French styling elegance and CITROËN technological innovation. A 3.0-liter, V6 24-valve engine gives it plenty of power, while CITROËN's unique Hydractive II hydraulically controlled suspension provides an ultra-smooth ride. CITROËN's Hydractive II suspension includes a self-levelizing function in which the body is kept level with the ground via hydraulic control. Adjustments are made automatically to accommodate the number of passengers and volume of luggage, maintaining optimum stability for a superbly smooth ride.
