Successful 32nd Tokyo Motor Show Closes After 13 days of being open to the public the 32nd Tokyo Motor Show has closed its doors. Thanks to fine weather and a relaxation of exhibit regulations, for example, allowing two-story exhibits, an exhibit-by-enterprise policy (displaying both passenger cars and commercial vehicles at individual booths) and a focus on injecting an entertainment element with various performances, the total number of visitors climbed pass 1,500,000. Noteworthy, the two-story facilities contributed to an expanded exhibition space, and the creative efforts of all the exhibitors helped remove the anxiety of displaying both passenger cars and commercial vehicles in the same booth and, unexpectedly, allowed the exhibits to be more focused. Subsequent shows for passenger cars and commercial vehicles will be held separately, alternating yearly. Thus the 32nd Tokyo Motor Show can be considered a major turning point in this show's history. |

One People. One Show. We wish to create, together with our close companions, lives with cars loaded with our modest happiness, by which we can each express our own personalities. Together with loved ones, families and friends we can understand each other. The earth demands that we treasure our lives together, and the environment, and cleverly use its limited resources, with loving care by each individual. The world motoring society has become one, for manufacturers and users to get together to make our lives with vehicles better than ever. The Tokyo Motor Show is the rendezvous plaza for vehicles and people to get together. To think together about the car life of the future. One world. One people. One show.
