JP Bentley Brooklands The Bentley Brooklands is a stunning new model that marks the company's return to the luxury coupe market and reaffirms its reputation as creator of the world's most exclusive coupes. It is the ultimate Bentley: a stylish, four-seat, grand touring coupe with classic British proportions and muscular performance.
Bentley's chairman Dr Franz-Josef Paefgen describes the motivation behind the new coupe: "Bentley's proud sporting pedigree, forged by the exploits of the immortal ‘Bentley Boys' on the famous Brooklands racetrack, was the inspiration for our new coupe, capturing all the style, power and splendour of that era."
The new Brooklands possesses the most powerful V8 engine Bentley has ever produced with 395kW (530bhp) and a prodigious 1050Nm of torque. Complementing its formidable engine the Brooklands also provides dynamic handling combined with superb ride comfort thanks to a very stiff platform and uniquely engineered chassis.
Each Brooklands coupe will be hand-assembled, employing traditional coach-building techniques and the craftsmanship skills in wood veneer and leather hide for which Bentley is renowned.
Bentley Continental GT Speed Inspired by the legendary ‘Speed' models first introduced by W.O. Bentley in the 1920's the GT Speed offers a harder-edged, more sporting Bentley driving experience.
Powered by a 6-litre, twin turbocharged W12 engine the Continental GT Speed delivers 449kW (602bhp) and 750Nm of torque and has a 0 to 100-km/h sprint time of just 4.5 seconds. This most powerful production Bentley ever also achieves a 3.5% reduction in CO2 emissions thanks to improvements in engine efficiency.
Complementing the powertrain developments are a number of chassis, suspension and steering modifications which improve agility without sacrificing ride quality. Further to this a new electronic stability programme and the world's most advanced tyre pressure monitoring system have been developed to exploit the potential of the new engine.
The Continental GT Speed also has unique 20-inch wheels and bespoke performance tyres to provide new levels of road holding. Highly impressive fade resistant carbon ceramic brakes are available as an option and add further focus the GT Speed's sporting intent.
Subtle design touches include a dark-tinted front grille, lower air intake and large sports tailpipes, reinforcing the sporting character of the Continental GT Speed.
