W08B Ford Motor Co. Equator Concept Ford, a world leader in SUVs, has launched =another attractive, exciting SUV concept car--Equator, an evolutionary advancement in the combination of performance and sports capabilities that characterize all Ford SUVs.

The exterior design maximizes aerodynamics for an exciting shape that doesn't have the look of the typical SUV. The glamorous bonnet and large air intake quietly invite expectations of high performance.

The Equator concept car has been painted with a hue the designers call First Light Orange to evoke the image of the sun rising from the equatorial horizon. It certainly is an appropriate name for concept car representing a new generation of SUVs.

It carries a 3.0-liter V6 Duratech power unit. Working together with a completely computer-controlled intelligent 4WD system, the equator delivers high performance regardless of whether it's on road off.

There can be no question that the Equator could bring more excitement to the range of Ford vehicles available to Japanese drivers.

C02 DaimlerChrysler Corp. (Chrysler) Chrysler Akino Concept The unique and artistically sculptured appearance of the Chrysler Akino concept and its one-box, compact size certainly turns heads. However, after the fifth person settles comfortably into vehicle, one clearly gets the idea there is more to this concept than meets the eye.
The vehicle name comes from Interior and Exterior Designer, Akino Tsuchiya, a 37-year-old who was born in Japan and is based at the Chrysler Group's Pacifica Advanced Design Center in Carlsbad, Calif.
The selection of materials and colors used in the interior are composed of natural and recyclable synthetic fabrics: bamboo flooring, a throw rug, lighting sconce, mood lighting and even throw pillows.

C08 Audi AG Shooting Brake Concept Audi is unveiling another pioneering interpretation of its current formal idiom with the concept study that goes by the name of Shooting Brake Concept: an exciting blend of sporty dynamism and intelligent functionality. The athletic pose of the concept study, painted in mother-of-pearl white, is the result of its interplay of clear lines and dominant expanses. A 3.2-litre six-cylinder engine developing 250 bhp and quattro four-wheel drive translate the exterior's promise into dynamic movement.
Audi S8 The S8 is noted for its spectacular sportiness and styling packed with tension. Powerful contours are an indication of the dynamism of the V10 5.2 FSI engine which develops 331 kW (450 bhp) an engine which has demonstrated on racetracks around the world just what its technology is capable of. The high performance of the Audi S8 is not just the result of superior power, but is also thanks to the perfect harmonisation of all components. These include, among others, quattro four-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension and consistent use of lightweight aluminium design.
