Opel Astra Our new Astra has been named in prestigious annual list of "10 Best Cars (or Car-of-the-Year finalists)" last year. It was a model developed under the key words "dynamic and versatile (practicality with well-used comfort)." Models of 1.8 sport or upper come standard with the adaptive IDSPlus chassis (Interactive Driving System) that comprehensively controls various safety devices and the electronic Continuous Damping Control (CDC) used to be only available in part of luxury cars. With CDC, shock absorbers' damping forces are adjusted in the millisecond range. Sophisticatedly-balanced power and control technology offer driving pleasure beyond comparison worth to be called a "sports car".
Opel Astra Wagon The new Astra Wagon released last February is a model with improved utility while maintaining driving pleasure of a hatchback. It is a new Opel compact wagon boasting a class-higher space including cargo space up to 1,590 liters, 40-20-40 split rear seat, and FlexOrganizer system, thus proposing more functional and wider use to customers.

PREMIERE[LOGO] Opel Astra Twin Top The Astra TwinTop unveiled at the recent Frankfurt Motor Show is an elegant four-seater with a new-generation electro-hydraulic retractable steel roof. Its special highlight is the "clever" kinematics of its innovative three-part roof system, which enables generous trunk space of around 440 liters. In the cabrio configuration, more than 200 liters are still available. The innovative roof technology enables a dynamic, harmonious design with well-balanced proportions. Release in Japan is scheduled in 2007.
PREMIERE[LOGO] Opel Zafira The new Zafira will be premiered at the Tokyo Motor Show. It has been expanded in all dimensions, i.e., length, width, and height. It features dynamic design and driving performance as well as a high-quality interior with a driver-oriented cockpit. The patented Flex7 seating system enables the Zafira to be easily turned from a seven-seat people carrier into a two-seater with up to 1,820 liters cargo volume in a matter of seconds, without having to remove or cumbersomely stow away the seats. The upper models are equipped with IDSPlus chassis. This is a compact minivan offering a high degree of driving pleasure.
PREMIERE[LOGO] Opel Signum 2006 Signum highlights include a completely new, striking face in dynamic Opel design language, an extensively modified engine range with a brand new, top-of-the-line 250 hp 2.8-liter V6 turbo unit. Each of the rear seats slide back individually by as much as 130 millimeters to provide maximum space for four adults. Thanks to a longer wheelbase than the Vectra and backrests that can be tilted to 30-degree angles, the rear seats provide a comfortable and roomy space. Release date, prices, and specifications of 2006 models in Japan are yet to be determined.
