Premiere Exhibit Name New Function/ Feature
PREMIERE[LOGO] Shooting Brake Concept Audi is unveiling another pioneering interpretation of its current formal idiom with the concept study that goes by the name of Shooting Brake Concept: an exciting blend of sporty dynamism and intelligent functionality. The athletic pose of the concept study, painted in mother-of-pearl white, is the result of its interplay of clear lines and dominant expanses. A 3.2-litre six-cylinder engine developing 250 bhp and quattro four-wheel drive translate the exterior's promise into dynamic movement.
PREMIERE[LOGO] Audi S8 The S8 is noted for its spectacular sportiness and styling packed with tension. Powerful contours are an indication of the dynamism of the V10 5.2 FSI engine which develops 331 kW (450 bhp) an engine which has demonstrated on racetracks around the world just what its technology is capable of. The high performance of the Audi S8 is not just the result of superior power, but is also thanks to the perfect harmonisation of all components. These include, among others, quattro four-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension and consistent use of lightweight aluminium design.
PREMIERE[LOGO] Audi Q7 The Audi Q7, a new model marks a superlative new development in the sports utility vehicle (SUV) segment, combines sportiness and versatility, sophisticated technology and the luxury of a premium-class vehicle at a high dimension. On the road the car excels with the driving performance and dynamism of a sports car, and off-road it redefines the benchmark in its category. A vehicle that outwardly makes no secret o fits qualities and whose technology delivers on its promise - on any road and in all conditions. The Audi Q7 - the performance SUV from the creator of quattro sets new trends through its design alone. Characteristic Audi dynamism is reflected in the broad curve of the roof and the distinctive high body surface in relation to the flat window area. The dynamic sweep of the front section and the powerful rear end with its sharply sloping D-posts fashion a coupe-like silhouette.
PREMIERE[LOGO] Audi RS 4 The new Audi RS4 is a high performance model that was exclusively developed as the top-of-the-range model in the A4 series by quattro GmbH. The innovative FSI engine technology (gasoline direct injection) proven by the Audi R8, which won the Le Mans 24-hour race five times, and with the high engine speed concept now being introduced for the first time in a production Audi, the V8 engine develops a maximum output of 420ps/7,800rpm and a maximum torque of 430Nm/5,300rpm. And its power is unfailingly conveyed to the four wheels through its combination with a six-speed manual transmission and the quattro system. It has realized astonishing numbers equivalent to those of thoroughbred sports cars such as the power to weight ratio of 3.93kg/ps.
PREMIERE[LOGO] Audi A4 Cabriolet This model made its world debut on September 12, 2005 at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show. An enjoyable and sporty driving experience, superior and complex technology, classic and exciting styling, and luxury that even satisfies the demands made in the luxury class: Audi is presenting the new generation of a car that has become a classic - the A4 Cabriolet.
The advent of a new model generation is evident at first glance: the open-top four-seater now has the single-frame grille that typifies the brand. The newly styled rear lights add a further visual touch. The car's taut styling, clear surfaces and tension-packed shoulder line extending along the entire body are characteristic features of the A4 Cabriolet.
Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 TFSI This model was first released in October 2004 in Japan. Audi is defining a new segment in the premium compact class. The Sportback is characterised by the sporting elegance of a coupe and the versatility of a five-door vehicle, sophisticated technology and well-defined driving dynamics. The 2.0 TFSI, the fist FSI direct gasoline injection engine with turbocharger of this class, delivers 147 kW (200ps). Its maximum torque of 280 Nm is available across a wide speed range from 1,800 to 5,000 rpm, front-wheel and the revolutionary DSG transmission, engine, drive train and chassis live up to the expectations raised by the sporty exterior of this five-door vehicle - driving pleasure in a new guise. The root of the twin-clutch DSG gear box technology is in motor sports. The sporty performance of manual transmission car can be enjoyed with the ease of an automatic transmission car.
Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TFSI quattro This model mounts a newly developed 2.0-liter in-line four-cylinder DOHC direct fuel injection engine with turbocharger on the popular Avant body. Power is unfailingly transferred to the four wheels through the combination of six-speed automatic transmission with tiptronic feature and the Audi unique quattro system. A dynamic suspension developed to meld dynamism and comfort, easy handling and active safety at the optimum level has been markedly improved. The set-up of the dynamic chassis with four-link front suspension and self-tracking trapezoidal-link rear suspension has been completely modified and numerous new components added. Several mountings and the dimensions of the front and rear shock absorbers have been adopted from the A6, for example. The rear trapezoidal links and wheel carriers as well as the front track rods originate from the S4.
Audi A6 Avant 3.2 FSI quattro The new Audi A6 Avant represents a unique blend of design and dynamism, driving pleasure and functionality. With countless innovations, a high standard of comfort and luxurious equipment, the Audi A6 Avant is poised to extend its lead within its competitive field.
The exhibit model mounts the newly developed 3.2-liter, V6, 4-valve DOHC engine with FSI technology on the popular Avant body. The engine power is unfailingly conveyed to the four wheels through the combination of quattro and the six-speed automatic transmission with tiptronic. With the strong shoulder line arch and the movement of the traditional line of the side sill a dynamic exterior design was created which makes the car appear as if it would take off immediately.
