Premiere Exhibit Name New Function/ Feature
PREMIERE[LOGO] Jaguar New XK The new XK heralds a new era with the most advanced technologies ever used for Jaguar cars. The new XK, featuring an innovative aluminum monocoque body structure, improves on the rigidity of the previous model by 31%, rising to 90% when compared to major competitors, as well as a 10% boost in the power to weight ratio. Moreover, the new car is 180kg lighter than its predecessor. In terms of styling, the new XK incorporates many design elements of the original XK as well as the classic C, D, and E-Types, and is a successful blend of timeless exhilaration and polished refinement. The new XK clearly asserts itself while inheriting the polished, understated elegance, and mature ambiance unique to Jaguar cars. As for the interior, the original XK's retrospective design theme is replaced by a simpler, more progressive interpretation in the updated model. * Timing of the Japanese market launch remains undecided.
Daimler Daimler, Britain's oldest surviving brand, was formed in 1896. In 1960, Daimler was acquired by Jaguar, and continued to hold an unrivalled position as a top vehicle brand, characterised by the unique fluted grille and sumptuous interior, filled with the finest of all things.The new Daimler powered by a 4.2-litre supercharged engine, adopts an innovative lightweight all-aluminum monocoque body. Thanks to the long wheelbase, the model provides a spacious cabin boasting features including a four-zone climate control, multi-media entertainment system, and a burr walnut veneer decorated with inlays. The new model thus lives up to the excellent driving performance and outstanding luxury expected of the Daimler name.
Jaguar Super V8 Portfolio The Super V8 Portfolio represents the concrete fruition of the Concept Eight show car, introduced by Jaguar as a "new standard of luxury." Boosted by the enthusiastic response, Jaguar decided to build the Super V8 Portfolio in limited numbers. The Super V8 Portfolio features an advanced aluminum monocoque construction, achieves agile handling thanks to its lightweight body, and includes an exceptionally spacious cabin, thanks to its long wheelbase. In addition to the XJ's core values, such as spaciousness, elegance, and luxury, the Super V8 Portfolio expresses Jaguar's forward thinking. * Limited availability of 50 units.
Jaguar XJR A supercharged 4.2.-litre V8 unit powers the XJR, which yields 298kW (406ps) and delivers overwhelming power across all revs, regardless of range. Capitalising on its lightweight monocoque body, the XJR offers a variety of thrilling and dynamic performances to the driver in various driving scenes. The exclusive exterior features of the XJR meanwhile, including a mesh front grille and 19-inch alloy wheels, lend its distinctive wedge-shaped design a livewire feel. Enhanced suspension and braking systems, coupled with a variety of innovative intelligent devices (e.g., Computer Active Technology Suspension, Dynamic Stability Control, Emergency Brake Assist), reinforces the sporting characteristics of the car's driving performance. The XJR is a large saloon that is the gateway to new driving pleasure.
Jaguar S-TYPE 4.2 Sovereign S-TYPE saloons, pride of place goes to the 4.2 Sovereign model, a title befitting this top-of-the-range thoroughbred. The chrome coating extends even to the grille surrounds, grille vanes, and door mirror covers, to create an elegant exterior that distinguishes the Sovereign from other S-TYPE models. Other features coming as standard on this luxury model include premium soft grain leather seats, a burr walnut wood trim, and Jaguar's Premium Sound System. The 4.2-litre V8 engine producing 224kW (304ps) is matched with a six-speed ZF automatic transmission, achieving both dynamic performance and a refined driving feel while the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Adaptive Restraint Technology System (A.R.T.S), and DVD navigation system all serve to further enhance the car's ride comfort, convenience, and safety performance.
Jaguar X-TYPE 3.0 Sovereign The X-TYPE 3.0 Sovereign is the top-of-the-rage model of the X-TYPE family of premium compact saloons. Befitting its title of Sovereign, the model features quality burr walnut veneers and ivory contrast-piped leather seats, to satisfy all Jaguar fans for whom such traditional values matter. The model offers improved convenience in the shape of a driver's seat with three-position memory setting, 10-way electrically adjustable front seats, and split-folding rear seats. The X-TYPE Sovereign also boasts exceptional stability under various driving conditions thanks to the combination of an AJ-V6 3.0 engine that produces class-leading power, and Jaguar's Traction4 full-time four-wheel drive.
Jaguar X-TYPE 2.5 V6 SE Estate The X-TYPE Estate is Jaguar's first estate model which was developed to meet the diversifying needs of car buyers, as well as respond to customers seeking both refinement and practicality. While a luxury estate, with class-leading luggage space and versatility, the X-TYPE Estate successfully incorporates responsive and agile handling comparable to Jaguar sports saloons, and sporty yet stable driveability. The body, designed specifically for the estate model, consists of more than 570 newly designed parts including roof rails as standard. The X-TYPE Estate is also characterised by a tailboard with an independently opening rear glass window, and by luggage space representing one of the largest load volumes of 1,415 litres with the rear seats folded down.
