Premiere Exhibit Name New Function/ Feature 612 Scaglietti NEW MILLENNIUM CAR A genuine four-seater Ferrari, the all-aluminum 612 Scaglietti is the result of an avant-garde design that guarantees the pure, thoroughbred performance demanded by Ferraristi combined with uncompromising driver and passenger comfort. The new 2+2 model signals a major leap forward on several fronts. Ferrari has changed the rules of the game with the 612 Scaglietti to suit the tastes and needs of a highly sophisticated clientele now demanding elegance, dynamic comfort and space, in addition to blistering performance. The inspiration for all this, of course, comes, as ever, from that unique powerhouse of cutting-edge research, Formula 1. F430 NEW GENERATION OF FERRARI V8 The F430 hails the arrival of a whole new generation of Ferrari V8-engined berlinettas. Every inch of the car was inspired by the engineering research carried out at Ferrari's F1 racing division. The result is a highly innovative design characterized by cutting-edge technologies perfected for use on a road-going car. These innovations are world firsts for production cars: the electronic differential (E-Diff) initially developed by Ferrari for its F1 and designed to make the most of the engine's torque to optimize traction, and the handily placed steering wheel-mounted switch (manettino) which directly controls the integrated systems governing vehicle dynamics. The F430's aerodynamics are also highly innovative for a road car: its shape has been honed to generate special flows to increase down force and improve cooling.
