PREMIERE[LOGO] Renault / Lutecia At the 2005 Tokyo Motor show, Renault goes ahead with the renewal of its B-segment range with a new Lutecia. Bigger and roomier, Lutecia stands out as a benchmark in the small-car category. Its chassis has been engineered to guarantee a level of driving pleasure worthy of higher segments, while fuel efficiency has been optimized thanks to carefully honed aerodynamics. Both in three- and five-door format, Lutecia features exceptional interior space for a vehicle of its length (3.99m). Lutecia's five-star Euro NCAP rating also reasserts Renault's leadership in the domain of safety as the eighth Renault to achieve the maximum rating.
PREMIERE[LOGO] Renault / Lutecia Renaultsport Concept The Lutecia Renaultsport Concept is the ultimate development of the dynamic new Lutecia. Assertive lines, a powerful character and an exclusive interior make this a show car that blends refinement with high performance. A demonstration of Renault Sport Technologies expertise, it is set to become a worthy successor to the Lutecia Renault Sport 2.0 16V and it brings a first to this market segment: an underfloor air diffuser. Like the extractor vents in the front wings, it is derived directly from Formula 1. The independent mountings for the front suspension guarantee that the handling will be precise and sporting.
Renault Grand Scenic The Renault Scenic is the most popular minivan in Europe. It has led the market in its product category since its appearance in 1996. Today the Renault Scenic continues to be the No. 1 seller. The Renault Grand Scenic extends the wheelbase of the original Scenic to provide more interior room. It has three rows of seats that can be rearranged to suit the task at hand.

In France it is customary to load the car up with cargo and for the entire family to pile in for an extended vacation. Families will sometimes travel 1,000 kilometers a day on such trips. The Grand Scenic has large windows to give the interior a bright, open feel. It has plenty of cargo space and three rows of seats that can be configured in various ways. Its excellent driving performance allows the family to travel long distances in safety and comfort. The Grand Scenic is the ideal car to take on vacation, and therein lies the secret to its popularity.
Renault / Megane Renault Sport The Megane Renault Sport is the sporting version of the Megane II family. It offers both a strong temperament and remarkable ease of use in everyday operation. Its innovative double axis strut front suspension ensures precise steering and handling. The Megane Renault Sport benefits from the lessons of the Megane II family and from the expertise of Renault Sport Technologies in the area of sporting cars, for series production or competition. Available in 3-door and 5-door form, it combines the qualities of a grand tourer with the driving pleasure of a sports car.
Renault / Kangoo Generation 2006 A benchmark in the leisure activity vehicle segment, the latest Kangoo is a clear evolution of its predecessor without losing any of the car's fun character. The model's new range features all-new body colours and finishes, as well as new equipment packs. (Exhibit available on public days only)
PREMIERE[LOGO] Renault / Egeus Concept The Egeus concept car is a resolutely upmarket 4WD SUV with the elegance and luxurious, comfortable interior of a saloon. Thanks to its SUV size, Egeus offers a spacious interior while its exterior promises solidity and a dynamic personality. The longer bonnet highlights a soft, flowing design worthy of an upper-segment coupe. The 250hp 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine, mounted north-south, gives Egeus both power and agility. Euro 4 compliant, it is fitted with a particulate filter, ensuring low emissions. Egeus is also fitted with Michelin Eden Weiss tyres. Striking a perfect balance between sensitivity and performance, these tyres are ideally adapted to Egeus' dual function: the adaptability of a roadgoing vehicle that can also handle off-road conditions.
PREMIERE[LOGO] Renault / Fluence Concept Fluence is an upmarket four-seater sports coupe. Its flowing bodywork and welcoming interior embrace the simplicity and sensuality of the car's form. Fluence expresses Renault's vision of a key theme in automobiles: that of upmarket, four-seater coupes. With a length of 4.60m and voluptuous forms that are sculpted from simple, structured lines, Fluence is a modern expression of the principle that underlies all coupes: pleasure of movement.
Renault / R25 F1 Showcar Also present at the Tokyo Motorshow is the R25 showcar that dominated most of the 2005 F1 season, driven by Fernando Alonso and Giancarlo Fisichella.
