AMG – AMG, a more familiar Mercedes brand

AMG is playing it cool with only 2 models on display, the "C32" and the " SLK32." Both are based on popular cars and available at relatively reasonable prices. AMG has attracted a large number of fans, just as Mercedes. If anything, people may be more interested in it than in normal cars.

Citroén – Stylish as well as rational

In the past, Citroen may have been a bit too rational, but this year it has successfully fused that rationality with more of a design emphasis, and you can see the results in the B segment "C3" and new upper saloon "C5" on display at this year's show. The "C3" virtually the whole of the roof is taken up by an electronically controlled glass sunroof and windscreen, has obviously impressed the visitors to this year's show, who crowd around to catch a glimpse. The "C5" features the next evolution of Citroen's unique "Hydractive 3" hydraulic suspension system. The display also has a popular and very easy to understand demonstration of the technology.

Daimler Chrysler – "F400 Carving" a high-tech wonder

Mercedes has long been known for its 3D booths created from natural materials. This year, it uses bamboo flooring to produce a warm, roomy atmosphere. There is a giant screen showing the history of Mercedes-Benz, and in front of it is the "F400 Carving" study model, rotating on a pedestal. The exhibit is popular, as is the new "SL500" positioned right in front of it. Every 2 minutes, there is a demonstration of its metal top, which opens and shuts in just 16 seconds, and wows the visitors every time.

The "PT Cruiser Convertible" in the Chrysler group display has been so popular at the motor show that its commercial launch seems almost certain. Though still a concept car, the "Jeep Willys" designed in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Jeep brand is also garnering attention. Visitors are attracted by the revival designs that are so popular in the United States.

The "911 Carrera 4S" is just the same as the "911 Turbo" except for the engine and rear spoiler, but viewers still gaze on it as the most advanced driving technology in the world. But the real focus of attention is the "911 GT3 Cup Car" with its impressive Carrera Cup decal. Porsche has refitted its popular "911 GT3" for racing, to create a car that embodies innovation and high performance.
