The West Rest Zone (on the west side of the Event Hall) will be the site of the "Festival Park," a general entertainment space for traffic safety education activities and events geared to family audiences. A large number of shows are planned for the special stage with a large screen. There are also benches available for those who would like to rest.
A live cooking show featuring a variety of performances and dance medleys, and culminating in a large paella. Samples will be available after the show.
"Traffic Troop Anzenger" show
A live action hero adventure to teach children about traffic safety.
Trial Demonstration
Mr. Naoki Kobayashi, Japan's top trial bike rider, will demonstrate his art and talk about motorcycle safety.
Traffic Safety Post
Visitors write a "Traffic Safety Pledge" on a postcard that is delivered 3 months later, allowing them to reconfirm their commitment to traffic safety.
Safety Commercial Contest
Film students at universities and vocational schools are invited to submit commercials on the theme of traffic safety. The nominated submission receiving the most audience votes will win the grand prix.
Chiba Prefectural Police Corner
Features a seat belt convincer, driving aptitude test car, and also patrol car and police bike exhibits. In addition, there will be live performances by the Prefectural Police Band and live demonstrations of police bikes.
"SmoCar 2"
A Parisian-style open cafe, created from a large truck given redesigned into a stylish, original bus. "SmoCar 2" ("Smoker") is sponsored by Japan Tobacco Inc.
At other times, the large screen on the special stage will show daily highlights, motorcycle videos and Chiba tourist attractions.
