This corner will exhibit commercial vehicles and the work that they do in support of many aspects of day-to-day living.

Commercial Vehicles Supporting People's Life Corner

The following exhibitors are scheduled to participate:
Mobile post office, Mail Delivery vehicles (Kanto Yusei Kyoku), Articulated dump truck (SHIN CATERPILLAR MITSUBISHI LTD.), Airport Vehicles (JAL), Beverage delivery vehicle (Coca-Cola (Japan) Company, Limited), Fire Engine (MORITA CORPORATION), Railway dump truck (Nikken Corporation).

 

This corner will introduce visitors to a wide range of "working motorcycles," including the business models used for short-range transportation, collections, and small parcel deliveries, emergency motorcycles used in disaster response, and special models designed for export markets.

The Cabinet Office will once again sponsor a corner on traffic safety, which will include police vehicles, a "seat belt convincer" demonstration, and rescue/CPR demonstrations.

The Chiba Prefectural Government will once again sponsor an exhibit of commercial vehicles at work in the prefecture.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport corner features an exhibit of prototype commercial vehicles that have been developed to respond to the needs of the elderly and disabled.

  1. Large busses designed for ease of use by all passengers, including the elderly and disabled.
  2. Taxis that allow wheelchair users and regular passengers to ride together.
 

We will also cooperatte with the Japanese Red Cross for publicity of bone marrow and organ donation.

In addition, Japan Electric Vehicle Association, Mitsuoka Motor Co., Ltd., Vehicle Information and Communication System Center, Japan Road Service Co., Ltd., Battery Association of Japan, City of Chiba, Ecos Club will participate in our show as special exhibits.
