This is the first Tokyo Motor Show to be held since the merger of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association and the Japan Motor Industrial Federation and is the second time as a "commercial vehicles show." A total of 105 exhibiting companies, 2 governments, and 2 organizations had signed up from 7 countries, including Japan. Their exhibits will be housed in Halls 1-8 of Makuhari Messe and also the outside exhibition area. We have planned for a total exhibition area (indoor) of approximately 25,000 square meters, which will put the show roughly on par with the 34th show. In laying out the exhibition we have emphasized ease of viewing for visitors, and cohesion and coherence for corporate groupings. Commercial vehicles will be found along the south side of the hall: commercial vehicle bodies, along the north side.
