HIGHLIGHTS OF THE LAND ROVER STAND

Land Rover is a speacialist maker that for over half a century has been devoted to designing and manufacturing 4x4 vehicles that boast unparalleled, serious off-road performance. Based in Gaydon, England, U.K.,Land Rover is now a member of the London-based Premier Automotive Group (chairman:Dr.Wolfgang Reitzle) of Ford Motor Company. PAG has four other brands besides Land Rover, namely Jaguar, Aston Martin, Volvo, and Lincoln.
For this year's Tokyo Motor Show, the stands of the PAG brands have all been assembled in the same area for the first time, along with those of Ford Motor Company and Mazda, to provide a unified image of the Ford Group.
The Land Rover stand has been designed to fully convey the brand's adventurous spirit through the generous use of natural wood and stone and the positioning of a compass at its centre. In addition, a special Defender, the one driven by Lara Croft, the heroine in the action adventure movie 'Tomb Raider', is on display, surrounded by a bamboo fence reminiscent of the film's venue of the Cambodian bush, in order to evoke the atmosphere experienced in the movie.
