As a member of the General Motors (GM) Group, Isuzu is exhibiting in the GM Group Booth under the concept of "Go Farther-farther than anyone else", where we offer innovative new SUVs : take a look at the unique ideas in each of the reference exhibition vehicles. The Isuzu booth symbolizes its powerful SUV designs, and we are also proud to introduce the latest diesel engine technologies to protect our environment.

• Z•E•N (Reference exhibition vehicle)
  This concept vehicle is a completely new kind of crossover, marrying the fun of an SUV with the functionality of a CV(Commercial Vehicle). The distinctive, two-volume design expresses Japan's traditional sence of harmony, and geometric lines that reflect modern architecture. Fun details include a tailgate styled like a "shoji", sliding Japanese door, ideal for viewing scenery. Stowing away the front and rear seats switches you to "room mode", providing a huge interior space. Travel in the "drive mode", and at your destination have fun in the "room mode"

• GBX (Reference exhibition vehicle)
  This unique SUV is engineered for the rough terrain of the outdoors, and features a design motif inspired by the stagecoaches that opened up the West. The name GBX stands for "a Gear Box for fun and amusement". As the name implies, it's fully equipped for allout outdoor enjoyment. A wide range of features include detachable rear seats that can be carried like suitcases, a tailgate toolbox, a futuristic see-through speedometer and tachometer, and an interiorlamp that does double duty as a flashlight. Enjoy the styling, and enjoy the drive of this SUV packed with dreams.

Featuring a powerful, torque-full engine, TOD (Torque On Demand), and semi-active suspension, AXIOM offers a truly exhilarating drive. The attractive, unconstrained interior design communicates a mood of relaxation and, at the same time, the sense of alertness required for good driving.   While BEGIN is based on a delivery wagon for commercial use, the flexble arrangement possibileties of its large cargo space offer the new concept of a mobile center for hobbies and amusement. It features walk-through cabin and cargo area, and ample room for even the largest items of equipment. This huge space can easily be arranged to match individual hobby and amusement needs. A good example is the exhibition vehicle specially equipped for kayak enthusiasts through a tie-up with "mont bell", the premium outdoor goods brand.

• BIGHORN PLAISIR II
  The BIGHORN is maturing yet further to come even closer to the SUV ideal. • WIZARD ALIVE LS
  This 2WD SUV features the WIZARD's high-level basic functions, refined for town use. A V6 3.2-liter gasoline engine delivers smooth, powerful acceleration and the tough body contributes to the stable driving feel. The interior is thoughtfully designed for total convenience. Rear wheel drive assures natural handling, while special suspension setting contributes to a pleasant ride and also makes it easier to get in and out of the vehicle. Outstanding cost performance is another feature that makes the WIZARD so user-friendly: even in the USA, the home of SUVs, about half the vehicles are 2WD. This is an extremely attractive vehicle with everything required in an SUV.

  This MU features a resin top with twin glass sun roof for open-air driving enjoyment, bathed in sunlight.
