Features of the Hyundai Booth:Experience the Excitement and Emotion of the FIFA World CupTM Main Stadium
With the FIFA World Cup™ close at hand, we will be recreating all the excitement and energy of a major soccer stadium at the Hyundai Motor booth. And our Korean dance group will inject even more energy to the show with their soccer-themed tap dance performance.
The latest line-up of Hyundai models will bi exhibited, with the focus on 2002 models slated for introduction to the Japanese market. Among the vehicles on display, Hyundai is proud to present the TB concept car. This prototype forms part of Hyundai's global strategy and heralds a new direction for concept vehicles. Note that the Tokyo Motor Show will be the world-first opportunity to see the TB on display.
In addition to the vehicle displays, the Hyundai booth will be a source of all kinds of information surrounding the FIFA World CopTM. Hyundai is aiming to provide fun for everyone, and nothing pleases us more than the thought that our activities may contribute to building even closer ties between Japan and Korea. Outline of the Vehicles to Be Exhibited

TB (concept car)
The TB, which forms part of Hyundai's global strategy, will make its world debut at this year's Tokyo Motor Show. Developed with an eye to resource and energy conservation, the TB takes compact and lightweight desigh to new frontiers, while maintaining a thoroughly uncompromising quest for quality. The TB returns to the original spirit of the compact car, providing plenty of room for 5 adults plus generous luggage space, all in an efficient package. We are confident that this vehicle will fulfill customer expectations in every respect, including comfort, economy, utillity, and safety.

LAVITA (reference model)
The LAVITA, a mini multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) seating 5 people in two rows, was developed jointly by Hyundai Motor and Carrozzeria (Pininfarina S.p.A) of Italy. Featuring Pininfarina's bright, spacious interior design and cuttingedge styling, it represents a remarkable harmonization of Italian flair with the utility, versatillity, economy, and safety demanded by today's discerning consumers. In developing the LAVITA, Hyundai has applied its advanced engineering skills to create a vehicle tailored to our customers' needs and lifestyles.
