  • 2001 World Superbike Champion
The year of 2001, the special year for Ducati has been further enhanced by the victories of World Superbike Championship. We have again grasped the honor of being both WSBK constructors champion and riders champion (rider:Troy Bayliss from DUCATI Infostrada team). Ducati have now won a total of ten World Superbike Constructors' Championship and nine Riders' Championship in 14 years.
  • Racing-derived motorcycle
From Ducati's inception to the creation of the World Superbike Championship, our energies have been focused on cutting-edge technology and passion for racing. Our efforts have produced extraordinary results, giving us renewed strength to continually improve our motorcycles and satisfy our ever-demanding motorcycle enthusiasts. Ducati bikes arrive at client's door virtually direct from the racetrack. We achieve the best possible performance on the track to guarantee optimal performance on the road. Our unique technological solution:tubular frame, twin-cylinder, L-shaped Desmodromic engine and unmistakable engine roar assure a motorcycle without peer. We offer four categories of motorcycle;Superbike, SuperSport, SportTouring and Monster.
  • DUCATI TESTASTRETTA 998
    Testastretta technology
Technically, the "Testastretta" is an all new 90° L-twin powerplant. The design starts with a completely new cylinder head, big bang, short-stroke design and further innovations that extend to the very heart of the motor, the crankshaft. The design goal was clear:increase total power, boost engine revolutions, simplify mechanicals, lower engine temperatures, raise reliability and lighten weight. The solutions utilize all of our racing experienced and express the peak of Ducati "know-how."
  • Exhibition Concept of the booth
Here in 35th Tokyo Motorshow, we create the same atmosphere as DUCATISTORE by using the same architectural materials specially designed for Ducati Store. Ducati Store is the best reflection of Ducati's distribution strategy, and today has developed its presence around the globe. It is a space where the company and its clients meet face to face.
  • DUCATI PERFORMANCE
accessories and apparels are also displayed that surround and enhance the 'passionte' colors of Ducati motorcycles, encouraging the "desmodromic" passions of Ducati fans.

  • DUCATI MONSTER
The "classic" naked road-going bike. Perfect for moving around the city and entirely at ease during out-of-town excursions. Gutsy and refined, the Monster has been one of the great motorcycle success stories of the 1990s. Its trademark characteristics and icon status take it into the 21st century with a leadership role as benchmark bike for the category.
For the MY02, Ducati presents a completely renewed Monster family, featuring innovative details on the entire range. The entire family has been completely redesigned on the basis of the experience gained from the S4. The most important changes have been made to the chassis and the engine, which now boasts electronic fuel injection on all models except 400. The Monster family for Japanese market is currently availabke in 4 different displacement versions;400, 750, 900 and 916cc S4.

  • DUCATI SUPERBIKE
The Superbike family represents more than any other Ducati's sports DNA.
With an unequalled record of victories in the world Superbike championship, the models featured in this family continue to evolve year after year constantly positioning themselves at the top of the segment in terms of technology, performance and exclusivity.
To confirm this traditon, for the MY 02 Ducati broadens the use of its new Testastretta engine, already a legend in the Superbike world championship, to all versions of the higher displacemant model (insted of only the Rversion, as in the MY 01).
In fact, the MY 02 features the introduction of the new 998, equipped with the Testastretta engine, which replaces the glorious 996.
The 748 range remains unchanged with respect to last Year (except for the new titanium gray color with red wheel rims on the S version).
Furthermore, all the models included in the family (998 and 748), feature new fairings derived from those of the 996R (which competed in the 2001 Superbike championship), with a consequent improvement in aerodynamic performance.

  • DUCATI SUPERSPORT
Within Ducati production, the Supersport family represents tradition more than any other. At the same time, it is characterized by a constant evolution aimed at fulfilling the needs of sport bike riders who seek excellent handling combined with a smooth and tractable power output rather than top-speed performance.
The Supersport family for the MY 02 has been enhanced, with respect to the MY O1, thanks to the introduction of the new 900 Sport. The line-up is therefore composed as follows :
    750 Sport
    750 Supersport
    900 Sport
    9OO Supersport
With four models, all available in half fairing and full fairing versions, with electronic fuel injection (unlike most of the competition, which uses carburetors), the Supersport family satisfies a broad segment of customers which ranges from the bikers who approach a sport motorcycle for the first time to the more experienced ones.

  • DUCATI SPORTTOURING
Since its birth in 1997, the Sporttouring family has been evolving up to the introduction, Iast year, of the ST4s, in order to ofter the market a complete range, able to satisfy all the requests and needs of Sport Touring enthusiasts.
The Ducati Sporttouring bikes unite three important elements : three different engines, with difterent features for three different philosophies of use of the bike, state-of-the-art chassis and excellent aerodynamic protection, all to guarantee the rider and the passenger the right combination of comfort and sport performance.
The Sporttouring family includes three models (ST2, ST4, ST4s), each featuring a difterent 'character', with which Ducati meets the needs of the difterent types of Sport Touring clients.
ST2 : 'Entry level' of the Sport Touring segment, oriented mainly towards touring, at a competitive price.
ST4 : For the 'classic' Sport Tourer, the right compromise between Touring and Sport, the natural upgrade from the ST2.
ST4s : Designed for a Sport Touring rider more oriented towards a sport use, therefore wanting not only comfort and versatility for long trips, but also performance, which will give full satisfaction even when used on the track.
