Tokyo --- Japan Motor Industrial Federation, Inc. (JMIF) chairman Hiroshi Okuda announced on July 31 that advance tickets for the 35th Tokyo Motor Show - Passenger Cars & Motorcycles - (2001) will be on sale from August 1. This year's show will be open to the public from October 27 through November 7 at Makuhari Messe (Nippon Convention Center) in Chiba City.
Advance ticket prices, including tax, are ¥1,000 for adults (door price ¥1,200) and ¥500 for elementary and junior high school students (door price ¥600). This year JMIF has expanded sales outlets by adding a convenience store. Advance tickets may be purchased at JR East stations, convenience stores, ticket agencies and travel agencies, etc.
As with last year's show, JMIF will also make available "afternoon discount tickets", which will be valid for entry after 4:00 p.m. Ticket prices are the same as those of advance tickets, and will be available only at the show site.
