Kutsenits Bus Characteristics
"Body as small as possible-functions as many as possible"
Kutsenits aimed for putting the necessary equipment into small
body with a tight turning circle at minimum costs. Due to its
high reliability and flexibility, a Volkswagen T-4 was chosen
as base, to create a bus adaptable to all kinds of orders.
For example: Beside deisel and gasoline engines, CNG(compressed
natural gas) and LP-gas engines are available. Transmissions can
be chosen between 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic.
Originally developed front and rear airsuspension:
A kneeling system makes it possible to lower the bus at the front,
rear, left and right and adjust the distance from the car's floor
to the ground.
Based on technology, that is friendly to the human and his environment,
living is made easier for elderly and handicapped persons. The
original air suspension system lowers the vehicles to a minimum
distance of 3cm from the ground, which is the shortest in the
world. It allows persons using a wheelchair to get on and off
the bus completely without help. Easy to operate new safety one-touch
lock systems prevent the wheelchairs from moving. The bus can
also be equipped with an emergency bed and can be used as an ambulance
vehicle.
The seats are products of european human engineering. While showing
a high fashionability, they guarantee a high stability for passengers
while keeping fatigue low during long rides.
