Highlights of the Yamaha Booth

The Yamaha Booth for the 33rd Tokyo Motor Show takes as its theme "Your Possibilities Awaken." Through the actual products, the displays and the ways they are presented, the booth introduces the Yamaha technological ideal of "The Man - Machine Relationship," which means "technology that touches the heart of the rider." The staging of the displays presents scenes where the riding feeling of the motorcycles, PAS bicycles and other electric vehicles (EVs) sparks the discovery of new possibilities in people. The booth layout consists of (1) the main stage in the center of the booth, (2) three corners on the themes of " Exciting," " Cool" and " Discover" and (3) the Eco-Zone.
First of all, on the central main stage you will find the concept model "MT-01" developed around the concept of a harmonization of the engine sound and the beating of the rider's heart.
The staging of the three corners surrounding this main stage is planned to express the ways in which The Man - Machine Relationship touches people's hearts through the three themes of "Exciting," "Cool" and "Discover" respectively. In the "Exciting" zoon, which expresses the performance that exceeds the rider's expectations and the joy of operating a machine of that quality, you will see the further evolved and matured new version of tha flagship YZF-R1 and the other models of the "R" series along with models like tha 4-stroke motocrosser "YZ426F" and the "TT-R125/90" models designed to let the whole family get the taste of off-road riding.
In the "Cool" corner, which explores the theme of that special exhilaration that lies in a dimension beyond performance, you will see models that blend in with a variety of street fashion statements like the "V-STAR Eleven Classic" and other models of the Star series, the "TW200" and the "YB-1 Four." In the "Discover" corner, where the theme is the feeling of discovery that comes from encountering a completely new type of vehicle such as you have never imagined, you will find the new "Majesty" and "Vino" scooters and the growing line of PAS electro-hybrid bicycles.
Going on to the Eco-Zone you will find introduced models like the "PAS Royal" adopting Yamaha's new environment-friendly energy management technology called Intelligent & Flexible Energy System (IFES), the "ECCY" electric scooter and an entirely new concept model called the "Hybrid Commuter" that combines the best aspects of electric power and internal combustion engine power. Here you will see the fruits of Yamaha's corporate efforts to develop environment-friendly technologies with a people-orented focus for products that draw on the unique potentioal of two-wheeled vehicles.
