Highlights of the Suzuki Booths

(1) Presentation Concept
We at Suzuki aspire to maintain far-reaching communication with people all over the world, as the basis from which we could contribute in our own way to make the lifestyles of each one of our customers richer and brighter through our products and services created with new ideas and concepts.
At the 33rd Tokyo Motor Show, we are exhibiting various vehicles designed with a sharp eye to provide the functions especially desired today, such as "convenience", "fun", and "low environmental impact". In other words, cars and motorcycles that embody new values. The car and motorcycle booths also have on display various models manufactured at our overseas plants. They represent the close ties we have with people throughout the world --bonds forged by Suzuki's technology and products that are demanded and well accepted across the globe.
Also on display are racing vehicles built based on Suzuki models -- your chance for a close-up view of machines driven and ridden in various events in the exciting world of motorsports.

(2) Presentation Theme

  • Suzuki Car Booth:
"Small cars with a big future."
"Small" means less resources needed for construction, less fuel required to operate and less emissions and pollution. "Small" means more effective use of the limited road space, and less impact on the road surface. No wonder "small cars" are attracing greater attention all over the world.
Suzuki has always focused on the role of small cars; in Japan, we have maintained our No. 1 position in sales of mini vehicles for 26 consecutive years. We intend to further refine our expertise in small cars by continuing to create small cars designed with a global perspective and based on our expectation that small cars have a "big future" as "personal gears" closely tailored to each person's daity lives and tastes.
Displayed vehicles include a concept car that embodies our joint development work on world-standard small cars with General Motors Corporation with which we have been in partnership since 1981. In this Motor Show, we are offering our suggestions on how "small cars can open big future" -- our global perspective on the future of motoring.
  • Suzuki Motorcycle Booth:
"The joys of riding feeling the wind" The motorcycle booth expresses the fun and enjoyment of motorcycle riding in various forms, and also presents new suggestions for a new world of motorcycling for the 21st century.
The latest version of our flagship high-performance sportsbike -- now with a full model change -- is displayed alongside photo panels of its predecessors, presenting Suzuki's high technology that has been fully incorporated into such models and how they have evolved over the years.
Also on display is Suzuki's suggestion for a "commuter vehicle that's close to people's dally lives" that explores new possibilities for motorcycles with new designs including use of liquefied gas for portable household cooking burners as fuel.
Cruiser bikes, dual-purpose bikes, large scooters, racing machines, etc on display express the rich variety of the joys of riding feeling the wind, while models produced at our oversease plants and export-only models underscore the diverse range of Suzuki motorcycles. Visitors are welcome to touch and get astride the displayed models of bikes currently available in Japan, to get a close-up feel of the joys of riding.
