Concept and main features
Photo:BoothIn its second appearance at the Tokyo Motor show, Saturn Japan has built its exhibit around the concept "Rei wo tsukusu kaisha, Rei wo tsukusu kuruma." (A company and a car with deepest commitment to people). The main attraction is the display of the new mid-size passenger car 'L-series' which will be the first appearance in Japan. Other vehicles on display include the popular SC2 3-door coupe as well as the SW2 wagon and SL2 sedan. The main stage on which the LS2 sedan is displayed features an Internet-style live presentation adding to the sophisticated and advance image of the vehicle. The four Internet kiosks in the booth offer visitors related video links. Presented on the sub-stage is the SC2 3-door coupe and video footage of the Saturn Homecoming, the event for Saturn owners held this past summer in Saturn's home of Spring Hill, Tennessee. Videos, music, and illuminated panels throughout the Saturn display area will present the Saturn philosophy in a direct, easy-to-understand way.

Main stage
Centerpiece will be Japan's first exhibit of the new L-series mid-sized car (LS2 Sedan) that debuted in the U.S. market this past July. The presentation on the main stage will take the form of an on-line Web browser, hosted by a narrator. A variety of informations will be presented, both on the L-series and other Saturn models, and on Saturn as a company.

Sub-stage
Featured on the sub-stage is to be the SC2 3-Door Coupe. In a re-creation of a Saturn retailer showroom, narrators will play the roles of Saturn sales consultants and customers, presenting Saturn's products and philosophy in a relaxed, conversational style.
