Heritage of Chrysler - 75th anniversary of Chrysler Brand
Booth Chrysler is celebrating 75 years of automotive distinction. In January of 1924, in New York City, USA, the founder of former Chrysler Corporation, Walter P. Chrysler introduced the first Chrysler brand vehicle indentified by a "gold seal" badge. The original Chrysler lineup, "Chrysler Six," one of the most advanced and exciting cars of its day, consisted of six body styles.
Chrysler brand vehicles have been built by utilizing "heritage design", integrates design of historical famous cars into modern design, and engineering excellence, called design leadership. Chrysler continues to move steadfastly into the future by buildiln upon the heritage. For the 75 years, Chrysler's dedication to engineering and design excellence has resulted in the creation of unique automobiles that are recognized around the world as modern and sophisticated American vehicles.
For the Chrysler brand, 75 years of history is the model for an unlimited future. Please join us in celebrating this remarkable history, and in looking forward to an even more remarkable future.

Display Concept - Expansion of Chrysler Brand
The influence of the Chrysler brand's past upon its future manifests itself in every new Chrysler product. The latest example of Chrysler engineering, innovation and design excellence is the all-new Chrysler PT Cruiser, which is sure to define a whole new vehicle segment.
It is neither a Jeep, nor an SUV nor is it a sedan. All-new Chrysler PT Cruiser, the focus of attention at the 1999 North American International Auto Show is a vehicle that will begin a completely new segment. This latest model will be introduced for the first time in Japan.
Daimler Chrysler has a long history of creating major new vehicle segments, most notably with the minivan in 1984. In addition to Chrysler Voyager and Chrysler Grand Voyager, which built world's "minivan" category, the New 2000 Chrysler Neon, "Accessible Prestige Alternative", is added to the Chrysler line up in Japan in order to increase the sales volume.

Chrysler/Jeep Booth
Jeep Booth The booth is divided into two sections, one for Chrysler and another for eep brand, to produce characteristics of each brand. On the right side of the booth, the Chryslerarea is designed for modern, preminum, and adult image. The all-new Chrysler PT Cruiser, the focus of attention at the 1999 North American International Auto Show, which will be introduced in Japan as 2001 model, welcomes you. The new model 2000 Chrysler Neon, launched in Japan in September 1999 is exhibited as well as the heritage of Chrysler's premium sporty sedan, Chrysler 300M. 2000 model Chrysler Voyager and ChryslerGrand Voyager, established new minivan category in the world, and also Viper GTS, a very popular and stylish design of American Sports Car equipped with 6-speed 8l V10 engine are displayed.
In contrast, on the left side of the booth, the Jeep area is designed for nature, outdoor, and off-road image. Jeep is the world's four-wheel drive legend. The image of "Chrysler as a manufacture of Jeep vehicles" is penetrated. DaimlerChrysler introduces the first time in Japan, Jeep Commander, which is the only full-time 4WD vehicle in the world to use a fuel cell technology with minimum influence to the environment. The new model Jeep Grand Cherokee has evolved to become a high quality luxury SUV. The 2000 model of this Jeep Grand Cherokee is displayed. 2000 model Jeep Cherokee is displayed as well as Jeep Wrangler, the legendary original go-anywhere, do-anything sport utility vehicle to tackle any terrain.
