The 39th Tokyo Motor Show -Passenger Cars & Motorcycles- (2005)
JAMA Starts to Invite Sponsors

JNL-2004-56
November 17, 2004

The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (Chairman: Itaru Koeda) has decided to retain the "Sponsorship Program" that was first introduced with the 37th Tokyo Motor Show in 2003 and to begin to invite sponsors for the 39th show in 2005. The show will be held at the Makuhari Messe (Nippon Convention Center) in Makuhari, Chiba from Friday, October 21 to Sunday, November 6, 2005.

The "Sponsorship Program" invites a broad range of companies to participate in the Tokyo Motor Show and provides the funding for planning and implementing a variety of organizer-run "hands-on, audience-participation" events that make the show more enjoyable for the general public, particularly younger people, women and families. These special events have been highly appreciated by visitors..

The 39th Tokyo Motor Show will mark the beginning of a new half-century for the Tokyo Motor Show, which began in 1954 in Hibiya Park, Tokyo. To celebrate this important milestone we are planning a variety of special events that will make the show even more "customer-oriented" and boost visitor satisfaction to even higher levels.

Depending on the level of sponsorship fees paid, sponsors enjoy advertising space in the hall, on show pamphlets, on tickets and on the official web site. There are also a number of other perks, including the opportunity to have an exclusive booth at the show and exposure for the sponsor's name in advertising and notices for the show.

Hakuhodo Inc. will once again serve as the secretariat for the Sponsorship Program.
